Our Scheduler - Kim Culver:
I was first introduced to ISR in 2008 when Michael began teaching. I enrolled my daughters, then 4 and 1 years old, and watched them go from hating getting their faces wet in the bath to being confident in the water. I was amazed at the process and became a huge advocate for ISR. My girls grew to love swimming and seeing their confidence soar as their skills increased each year with refreshers was incredible. I remember telling Michael I was glad that my kids now liked playing in the water. He said "more importantly, they now know how to respect the water and be safe!" When my youngest daughter was born in 2016, she was in lessons as soon as she was old enough. By the time she was 3, she could swim the length of the pool repeatedly and float as long as she wanted, and even learned how to snorkel! I began scheduling for Michael's Michigan team in 2017 and in 2019 I had the opportunity to join Jen and Michael's CaliISR team and begin scheduling for them. I love being part of the ISR mission of Not One More Child Drowns, and it is an honor to support the instructors, encourage parents and schedule the students. I may not be in the pool with our students, but I am invested in seeing them accomplish their skills. I love when I get to see pictures and videos on social media and when parents email me.
